Introducing the Bruno Söhnle Hamburg watch collection, which draws inspiration from classic timepieces from yesteryear. Manufactured in Glashütte, where only the finest German watches are made, the dials showcase beautifully printed Arabic numerals and a unique handset, perfectly suited for an elegant timepiece. All of which is surrounded by a railroad-style minute track, with polished hand-applied hourly indexes. There is even a see-through case back offering views of the automatic movement, which is sure to please most collectors.
The fully polished case measures 36mm in diameter and 9.5mm thick, with a lug width of 16mm. Despite its smaller size and because of its wide dial, it will still provide considerable wrist presence while conforming to any wrist size with ease. The watch features a sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflective material and is water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters.
The HAMBURG AUTOMATIK SMALL is available in two colors: classic flat white with black printing, black seconds hand and black-tipped hour and minute hands, and sunburst black with white printing, white seconds hand and white-tipped hour and minute hands. The date display is black on a white background, making it very discreet on the white dial. If you prefer the date to stand out, it leaps off the black dial. Both options are extremely attractive and come on a croc-embossed calfskin strap with a folding clasp.
The BS175 (Sellita SW200-1) Swiss-Made caliber powers the HAMBURG AUTOMATIK SMALL. Bruno Söhnle applies hand-finished perlage to the base plate, gear train, and automatic bridges, and the components are assembled with in-house thermally blued screws. The movement also features a custom rotor made in Glashütte and has 26 jewels, hacking, hand winding, center seconds, a frequency of 28,000 beats per hour (4hz), and a power reserve of at least 38 hours.
